You can attach one or multiple disks to a VM instance. Here are the preconfigured sizes available for purchase.

BMIT Cloud Network

Our Cloud Network is required as it provides you with bandwidth and connectivity to move your data in and out of BMIT datacentre. BMIT Cloud network is metered and does not limit or halt your network traffic. BMIT meters both ingress and egress but charges only for egress traffic. BMIT Cloud Network consists of a subnet and volume (GB).

The below volume packages are optional and not required as the first 100GB/month is provided free with the subnet. However, any usage in excess of the 100Gb or the committed volume packages are charged at the excess rate of €0.25/GB/month. Such charges are posted at the beginning of the month (for the previous month consumption).

Cloud IaaS Backup

Daily Backup

Daily Backup provides automated protection for your VPS by creating a backup every day.
What’s Included:

Daily Backup keeps seven (7) copies of your VPS.

Backups are taken every day

Your data is retained for the last 7 days

Each day creates a new restore point, allowing you to recover your VPS from any day within the past week

This option is ideal for protecting against day‑to‑day incidents such as accidental deletions, configuration errors, or data corruption.

Weekly Backup

Weekly Backup provides a broader recovery window by creating backups on a weekly basis.
What’s Included:

Weekly Backup keeps four (4) copies of your VPS.

Backups are taken once per week

Your data is retained for the last 4 weeks

Each backup represents a weekly restore point, allowing recovery from a previous week

This option is suitable for customers who require longer term recovery options without the need for daily restore points.

GFS Backup (Grandfather, Father, Son)

GFS (Grandfather, Father, Son) Backup provides comprehensive short and long term data protection using a multi tier retention model.
GFS Backup provides multiple layers of backup copies:

7 daily incremental copies (short term recovery)

4 weekly full copies (medium term recovery)

12 monthly full copies (long term recovery)

1 yearly full copy (archival recovery)

This structured retention model ensures your VPS data can be restored from recent days, previous months, or even the past year. It is ideal for business critical systems, compliance requirements, and long term data protection.
