Technical Solution Specialist

Looking to move forward in your career? We are looking for a Technical Solution Specialist to join the Customer Experience team!

This role would to entail planning and executing activities related to the design, integration, implementation and operations of internal and client’s infrastructure systems, business support systems or operational support systems.

      The chosen candidate will be primarily involved in:

       Main Duties:

  1. In coordination with Core team, project manager, plan and executes activities related to the implementation and operations of Customers’ and internal infrastructures in order that that they deliver appropriate functionality for agreed-on services within specified SLAs;
  2. Manage a portfolio of Customers on a 24x7 basis by being on call;
  3. Build strong and positive relationships with Customers at various levels;
  4. Build and document knowledge about the Customers business and technical setup;
  5. Ensure Customers’ support tickets are resolved in a fast and professional manner and comply to agreed Service Level Agreements;
  6. Implements technical standards, documentation and quality assurance procedures, in line with internal guidelines and current international industry practice for the team, in order that solutions delivered are consistent;
  7. Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate so as to mitigate team conflict and communication problems;
  8. Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members;
  9. Prioritise work load and ensure that resources are channeled into the correct areas;
  10. Work with sales team to produce reports/documents as requested;
  11. Improve Customer experience;
  12. Ensure that incident reports are issued within forty-eight [48] hour from resolution of incident;

Liaise with peers in other sections within Bmit or 3rd-parties such as service providers and suppliers as may be required.
